While the FireFit trainers' original concept was focused on helping reduce LODDs through tactical fitness training for firefighters, we quickly realized there was so much more to it. What we saw was through regular use, firefighters were getting stronger for the job, thus reducing injury potential. If firefighters did get injured, the injury recovery time was greatly reduced because they were properly conditioned.
